Aging at Home Services - Transportation Services
Perimeter North Villages can provide either volunteers or vendors for transportation services.
Volunteers can provide non-emergency transportation such as to medical appointments, Village events, grocery shopping, hair appointments, Department of Motor Vehicle to obtain a state ID card, or events at a place of worship. These rides are provided by volunteers who drive their own vehicles. Volunteer-provided transportation is available to members who can independently get in and out of a vehicle.
If a member needs significant assistance getting into and out of a vehicle, vendor-provided transportation is available. For example, if the member is in a wheelchair, vendors can provide transportation which accommodates the wheelchair and provide assistance getting in and out of the vehicle.
